SADIE ‘MIDGE’ (ROBINSON) ZAKRZEWSKI 

Sadie ‘Midge’ (Robinson) Zakrzewski died Dec. 18, 2010.  She was 74.

She was born July 1, 1936, in Camas.  She attended schools in Camas until marrying Paul Zakrzewski in July 1957.

She was a stay-at-home mom, spending her life garage sale collecting and caring for two sons.  She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, Misty and Alexia, and visiting with daughter-in-law Laurdes.  Summertime flowers were a special joy.  During the couple’s retirement years, they traveled by van around the United States, spending many hours in antique shops.  Her last 15 years were plagued with multiple serious medical problems, but she endured them well until cancer caused her death.

She is survived by her husband, Paul; sons, Stephen and Kerry; and two granddaughters; Misty 7 Alexis, and brother Mike Robinson.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, at 2 p.m., at Beaverton Foursquare Church.  Private interment will be at the Fern Prairie Cemetery in Camas.  Springer and Son Aloha Funeral Home in Beaverton is in charge of arrangements.
