service will be 1 p.m. at
Straub’s Funeral Home in Camas for Margie Ellen Brasket, a lifetime Fern
Prairie resident who died at home Friday.
She was 63.
Mrs.
Brasket, a retired Crown Zellerbach bag factory machine operator, was born May 29, 1921, in Fern
Prairie. She was a devout Christian and
an avid hunter and camper. She was a
member of the National Rifle Association and the Golden Crown Club.
Survivors
include her widower, Harold p., at home; her father, J. V.(B) “Bert” McQueen of
Camas; two daughters, Janice Zodaveld of Vancouver and Nancy Huddleston of Camas; a step-son, Harold L. Brasket of Vancouver; a step-daughter, Lurana Rittenhouse of Vancouver; and nine
grandchildren.
The
Rev. Daniel B. Westerfield will officiate.
Burial will be at Fern Prairie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made
to Hospice Southwest, care of Southwest Washington Hospitals.
