Obituary
George Davis
Retired carpenter George Davis of 26801 NE 9th Street, Camas, died on June 24, 1983 in Vancouver.
Davis was born on Feb. 15, 1911 in Lemmon, SD. He lived in Pomeroy, Wash. Before coming to Camas seven years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Florence; sons Richard, Donald, Franklin, all of Camas, and Glen of Tacoma; daughters Dorothy Doschadis of Wilmont, SD, and Betty Scheuffele, Janet Milhollin and Barbara Voogt, all of Camas; 27 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters Anna Anderson of Wilmont, SD and Barbara Huff of Hoquiam, Wash.
Burial was Tuesday, June 28, at 2 p.m. in Fern Prairie Cemetery. The Rev. Phil Harder officiated. Brown’s Stoller Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Those who desire may contribute to the Fern Prairie Methodist Church Memorial Fund in lieu of flowers.
