Arthur Dickson
Arthur R. Dickson, a 57-year resident of the Fern Prairie area, died Monday in Vancouver. He was 83.
He was born Jan. 28, 1901, in Stuart, Iowa. Mr. Dickson last resided at 5005 N.E. 237th Ave. He was retired from Crown Zellerbach, where he had worked for 37 years. He last worked in the company’s finishing room.
Mr. Dickson was a member of the Fern Prairie United Methodist Church, the Golden Crown Club of Camas and the 25-Year Club of Camas.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Fern Prairie United Methodist Church. The Revs. Dorothy Northcutt and Keith Hackett will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Fern Prairie Cemetery.
Mr. Dickson is survived by his widow, Laura, at home; two sons, Robert of Vancouver and Floyd of Valencia, Calif.; a daughter, Louise Myers of Washougal; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Fern Prairie United Methodist Church.
Brown’s Stoller Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
