Obituary
Thomas Dorman died at Ashland, Oregon last Sunday, of asthma. The body was brought to this city last Tuesday and was buried last Wednesday in the cemetery at Fern Prairie, where Mr. Dorman had been a resident for the past 30 years or more, he having moved to Ashland a few years ago in the hopes of benefiting his health. Mr. Dorman was a veteran of the civil war and had a good record as a soldier. For several months during the war he was a prisoner at Libby prison. He leaves a wife and several grown children.

NOTE: The paper and death certificate do not agree on dates. Since the paper was issued 03 Mar 1906 he had to have died prior to the death date on the DC which was 04 Mar 1906. Also the birth date does not agree. Not sure which birth date is correct. I used what seemed to fit and was on other information.
