Lee Finck
Larry Lee Finck, 44, died suddenly while at work in the
Crown Zellerbach paper mill on Tuesday, March 11.
He was born on July 20, 1941, in Kenosha, Wis., moving to Camas from South Dakota in 1959 until 1963. He was a lead operator in the cut stock
department of the Camas mill. He was a
member of the Camas Moose Lodge and the Association of Western Pulp and Paper Mill
Workers Local No. 5.
He is survived by a son, Scott Finck of Vancouver; a
daughter, Danae Finck of Vancouver; his parents, Leo and Mary Finck of Camas;
four brothers, Robert and Randy, both of Camas, Dennis of Kelso and Roger of
Washougal.
A funeral service took place Saturday, March 15, at St. John’s Presbyterian
Church in Camas with the Rev. John Reynolds officiating. Vault interment followed in the Fern Prairie Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances are suggested to the
American Heart Association, 715 Dayton, Vancouver, WA 98664. Straub’s Funeral Home was in charge of
arrangements.
