Washougal beautician Dorothy O. Fletcher, 51, of Rt. 2, Box 420, died Fri.,
Oct. 25, at her home. The former owner
of Candy Cane Beauty Salon in Portland, Mrs.
Fletcher was born in Kansas City, Mo., Nov. 26, 1916, and had lived
in Washougal since 1941.
Services were Tues., Oct. 29, at Swank Memorial Chapel
with the Rev. George Jefferson officiating. Interment followed in Fern Prairie Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Vernon Robert Fletcher;
one son, Lewis R. Fletcher, U. S. Navy, San Pedro, Calif.; two brothers, Leonard Jackson, Los Angeles, and Glenn Jackson, Kansas City, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Bernice Worth, Kansas
City, and Betty Fredricks, Redondo
Beach, Calif.; and
four grandchildren.
