ObituaryThomas Lee Foster passed away on Friday, December
17, 2010 at Sunnyside Kaiser Permanente in Clackamas, Oregon.
Born on May 5, 1955 to Robert and Patricia (Pendleton) Foster; Thomas was fifty
five years old.
A lifetime Vancouver resident, Thomas was a graduate of Columbia
River High School in 1973. He worked as a corporate chef having recently worked for Chips and The
Palace Casinos in La Center, Washington. Known for being an avid Kansas City
Chiefs fan, Thomas also enjoyed cooking, fishing, gambling, and playing cards.
Most of all, Thomas enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife
of 33 years Barbara at home; mother Patricia Foster of Vancouver; brother
Curtis (Carrie) Foster of Vancouver; father-in-law Russell (Janet) Swingler of
Dayton, Washington; mother-in-law Alberta Swingler of Vancouver;
brother-in-laws Rick (Sandy) Swingler and Mark (Kellie) Swingler all of
Woodland, Washington; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death
by his father Robert Foster and sister Margaret Foster.
There will be a celebration of Thomas’
life on Monday, December 27, 2010 at 11:00 am at Brown’s Funeral Home and
Cremation Services: 410 NE
Garfield St.; Camas, WA 98607. Brown’s Funeral Home and
Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
