Steven Gilman
Sgt. Steven Gilman, 28, stationed with the U.S. Army in Germany, died
Wednesday, March 26, as a result of an automobile accident.
Born Aug. 18, 1951, in Vancouver,
he was a 1970 graduate of Camas High School, and had been stationed in Germany for two
tours since 1971.
Survivors are his parents, Loyd and Betty Gilman of Camas;
a son, Marc Gilman, in Germany and four brothers, Larry Gilman of Washougal, Charles Gilman of Seattle, Richard Gilman of Vancouver, and Jeff Gilman,
with the US Army in Germany.
Military services will be held Wednesday, April 2, at 11
a.m. at Straub’s Swank Memorial Chapel with Capt. Carl E. Rohde, USA, Fort Lewis chaplain,
officiating. Interment will be in Fern Prairie Cemetery.
