Obituary
Shirley R. Aragon
Shirley Ruth Aragon of Vancouver, died Jan. 11, 2013.
She was 75.
She was born in Menominee, Mich., in 1937 to James and Lorraine Townsend. She had lived in the Camas-Washougal area for many years, and spent the past 15 years in Vancouver. While she worked as a certified nursing assistant, she was also a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Vancouver, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary-Vancouver. She enjoyed her family very much and will be missed by many.
She is survived by her sons, Rick Aragon of Vancouver and Ron Aragon of Canyon City, Colo.; daughter, Teresa Dalby of Vancouver; brothers, Russel Hajk and Bud Hajek, both of Washougal; sisters, Lorraine Kennedy of Dayton, Nev.; Carol O’Harra of Fontana, Calif.; and Francene Cosgrove of Chicago; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
A funeral mass was held Jan. 18 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Camas. Brown’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
