ObituaryHarold S. Gustafson – 61
Services took place Thursday for Harold S. Gustafson who
died July 6, 1987, in Camas. He was 61.
Mr. Gustafson was born April 29, 1926, in Carney, Mich. He lived for 40 years in the Camas-Washougal
area.
He attended the Friends Church in Camas and was a
member of the AWPPW Local No. 5. He was
retired after 40 years in the Crown Zellerbach Technical Department. As a veteran of the U.S. Navy in World War
II, he served on the USS Sanborn.
Mr. Gustafson enjoyed hunting, fishing, flower gardening
and carpentry.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth, at home; his sons,
Daniel and Mark of Washougal; his daughters, Sherry Monaghan of Camas and Robin
Shallenberger of Redmond; his brothers Arnold of Carney, Mich., Hilding of
Milwaukee, Wisc., Gilbert of Denver, Colo., Clifford of Edmonds and Glenn of
Davison, Mich.; his sisters, Signe Loberger of Milwaukee, Wisc. and Irene
Laurentz of Tacoma;
eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Thursday’s funeral was at Brown’s Funeral Home in
Camas. Rev. Clifford Gustafson and
Pastor Herb Sargent officiated. Burial
followed at the Fern Prairie Cemetery.
