Elma L. Hendryx

  A funeral will be held Thursday for Elma L. Hendryx, 87, of Camas.  She died June 23, 1991.

 Hendryx was born Sept. 19, 1903, in Bowie, Colo., and moved to Camas in 1911.  She was a member of Camas United Methodist Church, the Navy Mothers Club of Camas, the Fern Prairie Grange, the Pomona Grange, the Washington State Grange, the Finnish American Historical Society of the West, and AARP.  In addition, she as a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the World War I Auxiliary.

 She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Beverly Hendryx of Camas; and grandsons, Robert J. and James C. Hendryx.

 Her funeral will be held at Brown’s Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 11 a.m.  Burial will follow at Fern Prairie Cemetery.

 Browns Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
