Services for Bessie May Henley,
85, who died in a local hospital Monday, are to be at 11 a.m. Friday at Brown’s
Stoller Memorial Chapel in Camas. The
Rev. Edwin Martin is to officiate, with interment to follow at Fern Prairie Cemetery.
Born May 31, 1888, in Carthage, Mo.,
Mrs. Henley had lived in Camas the past 30 years. She was a member of the First Christian
Church of Camas, Auxiliary of Bennett-Barnett Post No. 27 and Royal Neighbors
of America.
Survivors include two sons,
Clarence R. of Redmond and Floyd D. of Camas; a daughter, Mrs. Ruby Riggs of Rock Island, Wash. A sister, Mrs. Edith Grove of Auburn, Calif.;
12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
