ObituaryCAMAS – A homemaker who enjoyed oil painting, Lorene A.
Marlin Hotten, died in Vancouver on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1998. She was 78.
Mrs. Hotten was born Nov. 21, 1919, in Sedalia, Mo.,
and lived in the Camas area since 1951. She was a member of the Camas Moose Lodge. Her first husband, Egbert Michael, died in 1970, and her
second husband, Jack Hotten, died in 1980.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Michael of Washougal
and James Michael of Vancouver; two sisters,
LaVerne Boone and Gertrude Morris, both of Sedalia;
one brother, J.W. Marlin of Sedalia;
three grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
The casket will be open until 5 today and from 9 to 11:30
a.m. Friday at Brown’s Funeral Home in
Camas. A service will begin at 1 p.m.
Friday at the funeral home, with burial in Fern Prairie Cemetery, both in Camas.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lupus
Foundation.
