E. W. Hunger
Ernest William “Bill” Hunter, 54, of Skamania, Wash., died Sat., Dec. 11, near North Bonneville, Wash., when hit by a train.
Born in American Fork, Utah, June 22, 1917, he was a draftsman in the Engineering Department of Skamania County and a member of the Cape Horn Grange.
Services will be held Thurs., Dec. 16, at 2 p.m. at Straub’s Swank Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Eric Jungbauer officiating. Interment will follow in the Fern Prairie Cemetery.
Survivors are a daughter, Nancy Hunter of Skamania; his mother, Hazel Foster of Arlington, Wash.; one brother, Malyn Hunter of Snohomish County, Wash.; and one sister, Eloise Poeschel of Arlington.
