Services were to be held Wed., July 9, at 2 p.m., at Stoller Memorial Chapel for Floyd Herbert Israel, 68, of Vancouver, who died Sat., July 5, in a Vancouver hospital.  The Rev. Marshall Campbell was to officiate with interment in Fern Prairie Cemetery.

A retired boilermaker, Mr. Isreal was born in South Dakota Jan. 6, 1901, and had lived in Washington 32 years, eight of them in Vancouver.  He was a member of the Methodist Church in South Dakota, and of the Boilermakers Union Local No. 72 of Portland.

Survivors are his wife Helen; three sons, Vernon and Robert Israel, both of Washougal, and Glenn Israel of Vancouver; four daughters, Mrs. Betty Engelking, Sandy, Ore., Mrs. Shirley Davey, Vancouver, Mrs. Martha Ford, Brush Prairie, and Mrs. Bonnie Larson of Vancouver; 11 grandchildren; three brothers, Harold, Ray, and Alvin Israel, all of Sioux City, Iowa; and two sisters, Mrs. Lottie Gregg and Mrs. Faye Prevail, both also of Sioux City.
