ObituaryAxel Johnson
A native of Camas, Axel W.
Johnson, 74, of Rt. 1, Box 940, died Thurs., Sept. 10, in a Vancouver hospital.
Born in Camas, July 18, 1896, he
had lived in this area all of his life. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Ridgefield, and was a retired employee of
Crown Zellerbach.
Survivors are his wife Thula; one
son, Roy Johnson of Camas; and a sister, Mrs. Edith Nikand of Portland.
Services were held Mon., Sept.
14, Brown’s Stoller Memorial Chapel with the Rev. George Jefferson
officiating. Interment followed in the Fern Prairie Cemetery.
