ObituaryLeon
Clarence Jones passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2006 in Camas. Born on February 29, 1929, Leon was 76.
Leon lived over 30 years in Camas,
and was a mill worker in the Paper Mill Industry in Portland.
He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving his country during
the Korean War. He enjoyed flowers,
fishing, gardening, hunting, watching Animal Planet, making bird houses, and
listening to cowboy music. He also loved
his neighbors Cooki and Linda.
Leon is survived by his sons Fred
Jones of Jefferson, Oregon,
and Richard Jones of California, sister Mary
Denton of Washougal, two brothers Harry Leao of Vancouver,
and Russell Jones of Rhode Island,
and numerous nieces and nephews. He was
preceded in death by his brother Jules Jones (2005) and special companion Luna
Jones (2004).
There
will be a celebration of life service for Leon on Thursday, February 23rd at 1:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Home in Camas. Interment will follow at Fern Prairie Cemetery in Camas, and a reception will take place at the home of Mary Denton in
Washougal.

honor may be sent to the Southwest Washington Humane Society: 2121 Saint Francis Lane, Vancouver, WA 98660. Brown’s Funeral Home in Camas has been
entrusted with arrangements.
