A
memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at Brown’s Funeral Home in Camas for Nicole D. Walker-Katzung, 18, who
was strangled at a local motel Sunday, Dec. 26, 1993.
Mrs.
Walker-Katzung was born Feb.
3, 1975, in Portland. She had lived in Camas before moving to Vancouver 12 years ago
last at 2629 Rossiter Lane. Mrs. Walker-Katzung attended schools in Camas
and Vancouver and had been a member of the Lacamas Heights Baptist Church in Camas.
Survivors
include her husband, David Katzungof Vancouver, a son, David Tyler Katzung, at home,
her parents, Sherry and Dan Redinger and Dennis and Nanette Walker all of
Vancouver, her grandparents, Frank and Wilda Miller of Camas, Earl and Juyne
Walker and Christine Smith, All of Vancouver, and Don and Tommie Campbell of
Underwood, her great-grandmothers, Zula Walker of Oildale, Calif., and Elsie
Fuller of California, two sisters, Misti Matta and Kristie Walker, both of
Vancouver, and a brother, Joseph Walker of Vancouver.
Burial
will be in Fern Prairie Cemetery.
