Clarence Ostenson
CAMAS – Clarence S. Ostenson, a lifelong Camas resident, died in a convalescent center here Sunday. He was 68.
Born in Camas on Feb. 22, 1908, Mr. Ostenson was a retired papermaker at the Crown Zellerbach mill in Camas. He was also a member of the Church of God and the Golden Crown Club in Camas.
Mr. Ostenson is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary Ellen Barton of Sumner, Wash., and Cindy Lee Ostenson of Tacoma; a brother, John Ostenson of Washougal; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Pickett of Washougal and Mrs. Mae Dickenson of Camas; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at Brown’s Stoller Memorial Chapel in Camas at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Merrill Tucker will officiate. Interment will follow at Fern Prairie Cemetery.
