Mae Pennington

Mae Pennington of Vancouver died June 10, 1992, at Highland Terrace Nursing Center in Camas.  She was 82.

Pennington was born Sept. 9, 1909, in Bays, KY, and moved to Clark County in 1985 from Portland where she had lived since 1975.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting and working on quilts.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and John Newman of Vancouver; grandson, Frederick G. Williams of Vancouver; granddaughter, Cynthia Smith of Skamania, Wash.; nephew, Tom Pennington of Middletown, Ohio; and seven grandchildren.

A graveside service was held Monday at Fern Prairie Cemetery.

Straub’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
