Ronald J. Peters

CAMAS – A funeral will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at Camas Assembly of God Church for Ronald Jacob Peters.  His body was found floating in the Washougal River on Sunday, June 21, 1998.  He was 36.

Born Nov. 12, 1961, in Moses Lake, Mr. Peters lived in Camas since 1979.  He was an operator for a Portland Phone Company.  He  loved to ride motorcycles and enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his parents, Carol and Paul Peters of Coulee City; a twin brother, Donald P. of Glendale, Ariz., and two other brothers, John R.L. of Camas and Adam T. of Vancouver; one sister, S. Jane Palmquist of Monroe, Ore.; two stepsisters, Dawn Marie Schulze of Washougal and Heidi L. Vanderhoef of Battle Ground; and a grandfather, Lewis White of Brooks, Ore.

Burial will be in Fern Prairie Cemetery.  Brown’s Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of arrangements.
