Obituary
Charles F. Bartley
A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at the Camas Assembly of God Church for Charles Franklin Bartley, who died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2001, in Vancouver. He was 86.
Mr. Bartley was born Oct. 14, 1915, in Canyonville, Ore., and moved to Camas in 1948. He retired from Crown Zellerbach in 1979 after working in the bag factory more than 30 years.
A member of the Camas Veterans of Foreign Wars, he served in the U.S. Army in the Sough Pacific during World War II. He was also a member of the Camas Assembly of God Church and the Good Sam recreational-vehicle club. He enjoyed camping, fishing and huckleberry picking.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, in 1994, and a daughter, Ramona Bartley.
Survivors include one daughter, Lorella “Lori” Rose Croswell of Washougal; two sons, Robert Alan of Auburn, Calif., and Terry Lee of Cordova, Alaska; one brother, Harold Irei Bartley of Portland; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
Vault interment will follow the funeral in Fern Prairie Cemetery. Brown’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
