Little Taylor Girl is Victim of Rare Disease

Elizabeth Taylor

Victim of a rare constitutional ailment, eight-year-old Elizabeth Taylor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur E. Taylor of Midland Acres, died after a tonsil operation here Friday while still under the anesthetic.

Dr. Thomas D. Robertson, autopsy surgeon of St. Vincent’s hospital, who performed a post mortem, reported she had status thymico-lymphaticus, a constitutional disease of a congenital nature which cannot always be predicted.  Nothing is known in the way of avoiding death, Dr. Robertson said.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Stoller’s and interment was in Fern Prairie cemetery.  Besides the parents she is survived by a sister Ethel May and two brothers Arthur Jr. and Raymond.
