ObituaryJoseph M. Webberley
Joseph M. Webberley died Jan. 17,
2000, in Camas. He was 87.
Born Dec. 27, 1912, in Portland, he was a
self-employed logger. He was a member of
the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Camas. He like to ride in airplanes, explore caves,
steam trains, and playing the Spanish guitar.
He was an accomplished U. S. Mechanic, and a World War II veteran who
served in North Africa under the direction of
Gen. George Patton. He was a gunner,
tank crew member, and steam donkey operator.
Brown’s Funeral Home is in charge
of arrangements.
He is survived by five nephews
and eight nieces.
A graveside service was held
Saturday, Jan. 22, at the Fern Prairie Cemetery in Camas. Memorial donations can be
given too Hospice Southwest at P.O.
Box 1600, Vancouver, WA 98668.
