DEATH OF MRS.
KATIE WELCH

Mrs. Kate Welch died Sunday at her home in Camas from cancer from which she had been suffering for several years. She was 52 years old. The deceased is survived by her husband, Frank Welch, son, Ben Welch, and five brothers. Mrs. Welch was born and raised in Clarke county. The funeral will be held at the home of Mrs. Beagles Tuesday at 10 o’clock with interment in Fern Prairie cemetery. The Rev. Mr. Seamoure officiating.

Mrs. Katie Welch died Sunday Jan. 9 at Camas. She was a resident of Proebstel all her life up to about six years ago, when she moved to Fern Prairie. She was held in high esteem by all who knew her. Sympathy is extended to her husband and son by the people of Proebstel.

Mrs.
Frank Welch, who has been ill for some time, died at the home of Mr. Beagle in
Camas last Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock.
She leaves a husband and one son and several brothers besides a host of
other relatives and friends to mourn her loss.
The funeral was conducted by Rev. W. E. Rossman on Tuesday at 10:o’clock
at Mr. Beagle’s and the burial was in the Fern Prairie cemetery.
